My first posting of this tree was two years ago on April 33, 2023 (see https://beginbonsai.net/2023/04/22/eastern-redbud-cercis-canadensis-mnc-lavender-twist/). It hasn’t grown much since then. I am considering cutting the branches back to try getting new growth but I haven’t made that decision yet.

But not a lot of them. I have been fertilizing the tree lightly with Biogold Original the past two years. I might start fertilizing more heavily in the future to try to get a better spring bloom.
